We’ve been looking for interesting events for you all week! Finally, we’ve come up with a list of the most 5 exciting things to do this weekend (7/7/2017 – 7/9/2017). We want to keep it simple but exiting; From a tour in a beer brewery or an exciting day in a renaissance festival to an interesting walk-through about the history of watches, we have it all.
Renaissance Festival @ Sterling, NY – July 1 – August 13
Jousting, Medieval jargon, corsets and kilts, beer steins filled to the brim, and giant turkey legs are just a few of the attractions at the Sterling Renaissance Festival, which takes place July 1 — August 13. For over 40 years, the tiny town of Sterling, NY has transformed into 1585 Warwick, England for about two weeks of the summer. Attendees get the opportunity to have tea with “Queen Elizabeth I,” attend a royal feast, or go on a pub crawl. Elizabethan street performers, dueling knights, and a large artisan market also await.

Brooklyn’s craft beer scene might be booming now but you should have seen it in the 19th century! Once home to 48 breweries, this ancient trade disappeared from the borough in the 1970s. On this walking tour we’ll look behind the scenes at how beer is made, explore the pre-prohibition era breweries that still stand and have plenty of craft beer and some classic NYC pizza’s along the way.

From Thursday, July 13th through Sunday, July 23rd, Patek Philippe is delighted to present The Art of Watches, Grand Exhibition. The 11-day public exhibition will showcase Patek Philippe’s tradition of high-precision watch manufacturing, an insight into the company’s 178-year history, as well as its heritage in the domain of Haute Horologerie.
