Hudson River Park’s Blues BBQ Festival
In it’s 19th year, the Hudson River Park Blues BBQ Festival returns to Pier 97 with great live music and delicious BBQ via Mighty Quinn’s, Pig Beach, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, plus ice cream, beer, and more. Attendance is free and the festivities go from 2PM – 9PM. Nothing beats mouth-watering BBQ and live blues on a (hopefully) sunny Saturday afternoon.

India Day Parade

India will be celebrating its 72nd year of independence at Sunday’s India Day Parade. Check out what is sure to be a colorful and joyous celebration of Indian culture, plus vendors serving traditional Indian cuisine. The parade runs from 38th to 25th St. going down Madison Ave.
NY Cocktail Expo
Prefer to spend your Sunday boozing it up? The NY Cocktail Expo in Long Island City will feature tastings of a variety of cocktails, spirits, beer and cider. There will also be awards handed out to the best cocktails as well as a Tiki Throw Down.
