The Great Gatsby Party (11/30, 12/1)

The annual Great Gatsby Party returns to NYC this weekend. If you’re looking to dress up and party like it’s the roaring 20s, this is the place for you. The party promises live music, aerial dancers, theatrical acts and more.
The Great Northeast Cheese Fest (12/1)
Do you like cheese (duh)? The Great Northeast Cheese Fest takes place this Saturday in Flushing, showcasing a variety of the best artisanal creameries. Try some sheep’s milk tommes, blue cheeses, goat cheeses and more. Chefs will also be on hand to create various cheesy offerings.
Lighting of World’s Largest Menorahs (12/2 – 12/9)

Hanukkah, or Chanukah, begins this Sunday night. For all 8 nights, you can see the lighting of the “World’s Largest Menorahs” at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn or across from the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan (5th Ave. and W 59th St.). The Brooklyn location hosts a kickoff concert for the first night, along with potato latkes and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) to enjoy. View the lighting schedule here.
